Fashion Wholesale Scarves Sales Representative

BASIC INFORMATION:

We are a scarf wholesaler that stays at the edge of fashion trends. Our trends have a European influence and we pride ourselves in being ahead of the U.S. market. We have headquarters based in Brooklyn but our Sales Associate will be conducting business throughout the NYC area. We are looking for a proactive individual that is motivated and whom will make a positive heavy impact on our sales department.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Acquire, maintain, and retain accounts. Venture into new and current territories. 
2. Develop a strong knowledge of our products and target markets. With our wide variety of scarves, certain scarves may appeal to specific markets.
3. Respond to customers' inquiries and needs. Must be aware of stock levels.
4. Produce invoices, maintain records, and make reports of sales.
5. Proactively make suggestions based on analysis and observations that will positively impact the business. 
6. Meet measurable standards and goals based on Company's expectations. Be Professional.
7. Prioritize tasks and allocate time and resources for self in accordance with importance and urgency.


CORE COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
a. Sales experience recommended. Previous connections to fashion accessory accounts is a plus.
b.  Knowledge of the contemporary fashion accessories market is a plus.
c. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must provide high-quality service and attain customer satisfaction.
d. Analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to react to business trends and identify areas of opportunity.
e.  Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
f.  Must plan and organize sales approach. Will have to travel.
g. Must take initiative and pursue a leadership role within our sales department.

The pay for this position is commission based. You will only see results if you work hard.

May start immediately if hired.
